This 1973 split level home is being updated and reworked to accomodate a growing family of 7. The goal was to maximize functionality while updating the style and finishes. In our design we sought to enhance circulation and uncover the existing architectural qualities of the home that were buried beneath years of shag carpet. Construction is currently underway - we look forward to updating with as built pictures!
We bought a home in a new state that required considerable renovations to meet the needs of our family. We contacted Rom Architecture and Design to help us create a vision and plan for our renovation that would help inform future decisions and help to keep us focused. Joe and Joy have exceeded our expectations. They are professional and very knowledgeable. More than that, they really listened to our needs and kept within the scope of what we asked. One of the highlights of our experience was how they were able to translate what we communicated in ways that were unexpected and challenged what we thought was possible with our space with exciting results. They laid out a schedule and met every deadline. They communicated often and were very well prepared for all of our meetings. They met with all the key players of our project to ensure everyone was on the same page and provided ideas and sourcing information for certain products. These elements make a big difference when you are new to an area. The plan Studio RAD gave us not only meet the unique needs of our family but they’ve also given us a home we are excited about. The transformation is remarkable. Their vision for what the house could do was beyond what we could have thought of and their vast knowledge is evident with their creative and unique ideas. No matter your budget or project size, we would wholeheartedly recommend you take advantage of the services and skills Studio RAD can offer. The experience was a very enjoyable one and our project has a broad vision and an excellent plan on how to get us there thanks to Studio RAD.
